Is it possible in Half Life 2, to play an avi or a movie file of some sort when the player walks on a trigger? I know all the cutscenes are real time but is there a way to do it?

Embed the movie into a HTML file, use the build-in IE renderer?

Don't ask if there a way to do it, Half Life 2 was made like anyother game by C++ coding. If made by C++ coding you can make whatever you want it to do. Wanna make the game makes funny colors rearange files in your harddrive load movies segments, music [SIZE7] Anything![/SIZE7]

The real question is: how easy will it be to do and do you want to spent the effort? I'd start looking at the code that plays the opening Valve video.

That's not the real question, fool. Worth the effort? Everything is worth the god damn effort!

But yeah, looking up the intro video thing may help.

Sounds like a personal problem to me....
