Turn your 9800Pro (256MB) into a 9800XT!!

Hey guys...found a site where it shows you how to change a 9800Pro (make sure it's 256MB's) into a 9800XT. I'll try it right away. It seems that the 9800Pro and XT are the same card, (if you have the right card). All that's different is the BIOS on the card. I'll get back to you after I try it. (Make sure to read the whole thing before trying anything...and don't blame me if you screw up.:E )

I have tried to unlock my x800pro as well...

I have the Sapphire PCI-E version... Pretty much what you have to do is simply restart the computer with a bootable floppy and flash your old bios with the x800 XT bios.. I've tried it with many unsuccessful results and had all 16 pipes unlocked and my core and mem speeds higher, but i lost it after reinstalling the drivers..
