This game looks pretty cool, but I don't know if anyone else has heard of it. Two Worlds is a third person open ended RPG set in a medieval fantasy world. I guess you can say it's like Oblivion, but in third person hack and slash form. This game is comming out Aug. 14th in the US and UK for PC and X360. It's already out in Germany though. And it has multiplayer!
The game looks really nice from the screenshots I've been looking at. Just head over to IGN or gamespot to have a look. The variety of loot is also impressive. Check out the item base here. Thats just a list of the chain armors... there's also plate, leather etc. The weapons also look nice.
I read a couple reviews, which most of them seemed negative. There are still a lot of bugs it seems, even after going through 3 or 4 patches. Some of the flaws are the story, its really nothing special, and your character becomes overpowered too fast. There is a unique feature where you can stack identical items such as weapons/armor etc. to increase their power. The problem is there is no limit. So you can stack a lvl 1 sword 100 times...and yeah...
In singleplayer you only have the option to play as a human male, so character creation is poor from what I've been reading. But in multiplayer there are multiple races. You can PVP, PVE and even horse race in multiplayer. In PVE there is no level limit, but loot and experience is not shared, so it's competative. In PVE you choose a class that starts at lvl 20 but can't advance any further.
To check out more features just head over to the Two Worlds web site. Despite reading more bad reviews than good, I'm lookin forward to giving this game a try.
