Tyler Durden

tyler durden is 1 of the coolest characters ever created

a really good line from the book by the narrator after noticing bumper stickers with tags like "Drunk Driver Against Mothers" and "Make Mine Veal!"

"I saw these and I knew they were the work of the Misinformation Committee. Or the Mischief Committee"

such a good fight club world line that u just couldn't get anywhere else

dreamthrall, it is interesting u say that, i thought the book was much better due to the greater level of detail, 1 of my favourite reads

We have to bow to the guy.

One of my favorite films ever, the book is better. If you liked Fight Club go for Choke, it's as good if not better.

I just bought Choke, Lullaby, and Diary... I chose to read Diary first. It's WEIRD, it has a real sadistic sense of humor and irony, just like Fight Club. Not quite as witty, but it's a good book. I guess I'll have to read Choke next, from what I read on the back of the book it sounds like a plan that Tyler could have cooked up in Fight Club, lol. :naughty:

That is pretty much the case, it develops in a really strange way, i think you'll like it more than Diary, try Survivor after that, ignore Invisible Monsters it sucked.

well i bought the book and read through it. I liked it, but the ending was somewhat confusing. there were multiple ways to interperet the ending and what really was happening. I do think the movie flowed better than the book, but maybe its just because I saw the movie first.

I think its whichever version you are exposed to first. If you see the movie first, its more likely that you will like the movie more. If you read the book first, then you might like the book more. There are exceptions though, so dont flame me :D

I SAW THE FILM FIRST AND I LIKE THE BOOK MORE

FFFFLLLLAAAAMMMEEE!!!

kidding :p

its true tho, i did see film first but prefer the book, just my opinion :)

Yeah, I finished Diary today (in my G-period ethics class, lmao *ZzZ SNORE*) and I started Choke tonight... I like it a lot better than Diary, so far. It flows a lot better than Diary... I just found that book to be confusing. It had a good plot, but it left we asking waaaay too many questions. :)
