I wanted to photoshop an image of my school from a POV on a rooftop. Add a strider or 2 in the very background. Add 2 Dr Breen's screens to the SAC (Student Activity Center) but no Gordon, he dosen't exsist =P

as the image was loading i thought it was that 3d skybox from one of the levels, and then i saw some other stuff and thought wtf thats real!

Am I the only one to notice that although the grass is in poor condition, everybody there has satellite tv? o_O

I vacationed in Cuba. The "government" covers the everything in pastels to make it look better for tourists. :/

Kinda reminds me of this movie about russia I saw. There was only one architecht who did apartment buildings for the soviet union so they have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of this same single apartment building. :eek:
 
heh, it looks like a screenshot; the buildings are exactly the same styles and all that.

If I get a chance later on then I'm gonna photoshop the crap outta that thing...

And how exactly you decided, that this plase is SAD ?
I also live in City 17, although not in Poland.

czech is only server with photo's, pic's is taken in poland... yep, to stalker too :D

I should make a field trip from here (Finland) to Russia and do a comparison between HL2 and real life Russia. :D

Can anyone give a faster host for these files, they always stop in the middle of the picture for me :(
 
I lived in C17 before, Sweden Stockholm. In hl2 it has Swedish money and words on sings, and it looks like sweden, and the geografic is like sweden (ravenholm, the coast, canals etc)
 
This thread is sorta a billion years old. :p

In any case, that would make a good DM map, opposing structures like that.
 
I bet living there they fix you up with a job really easy = so hell yes!
