i couldnt see a thread about it, but am i dreaming this??

Liverpool were 3-0 down at half time, and now i look 20 mins into the second half its 3-3...

lol im no liverpool fan, but im shocked.. and i want liverpool to win it! :O

your thoughts?
 
Yeah, that was really shocking, all within something ridiculous like 10 mins.
Still want AC Milan to win though. :E
 
Hate football, but I'm watching it for the hell of it...
 
I hope Liverpool loses because my scouse mate will cry.
 
I can't believe they came back from 3-0 down. 10 minutes to go until penalties if nobody scores.

I was absolutely dumbstruck when they equalised, scoring three goals in about six minutes. I was certain they'd be disallowed or something, I couldn't believe they managed it :eek:

I hate penalty shootouts- 'cept when the team I'm supporting owns utterly :p

Everyone expected them to win over here, but hell, a six-goal game? Woah... you couldn't make this stuff up.

no way, @ ht i thought ''man 3 nil down, they'll get a hiding next half'' and milan will win like 6nil but 3 goals in like 5 minutes, stunning.
 
I can't believe this game, it was so awesome. I wanted Milan to win, but all credit to the scousers, that was incredible. Great evening entertainment.
 
Gah! Damn Liverpool. United fan here but i had a feeling that this would happen - i was goin for Chelsea against Liverpool (prob only neutral fan to do that).

Great game but Milan shot themselves in the foot (as has happened a few times). Great Milan goals but liverpool were very lucky time and time again

1) Gerrard penalty - he went down VERY easily
2) Linesman cancels offside call - one of the goals, offside was flagged but ref ignored and a goal for liverpool was result - very contraversial.
3) Shevchenko?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!

But Milan definately threw it away, and soccer has been dealt a cruel blow!
 
All that can be said is that it is truly a game of two halves.

Oh my word, what a game, and a big well done to Liverpool! :D

Yes, they were lucky, (the 2 saves from Dudek :O ), but some fantastic individual performances and an all-round glorious display merit their 5th European Cup win.

Gerrard should stay and aim to add the Premier League to his collection within 3 years.
 
All it took was Stevie Gerrard to score that raking header. He is definetly my favourite Premiership player, I'd go as far to say best English footballer in the Premiership...

I wouldn't say he's the best, but there's a reason he's in the England squad. :cheers:
 
Gerrard not the best english player but is good. Once he switched positions, AC got nothing down that flank.

And Dudek dancing on the line was amazingly funny.He did take a page out of Didas book for penalties when he stormed off the line at one of them. Dida did that a couple of years ago and was nearly on the penalty spot by the time the ball was kicked.

yeah i remember that. nonetheless, one of the most amazing games i've ever seen. 3 goals in six minutes? and that's only the second fastest in euro history.
man utd - 3 goals four minutes in '68.
 
i still remember euro champions league 99', when man u scored those 2 last minute goals to win the game (LOL @ that black defender going nut on the goalpost).

i was equally happy with man u and liverpool winning it :D
