I don't know, Spains good, but I'd love to see a football giant like Spain to fall to the Germans.

Germany's a bigger football giant, so it's better to see them fall to the Spanish

1st half, all Spain. Spain has had by far the better chances, the Germans can't seem to be able to keep the ball.

Spain may be a football giant with clubs, but they've never accomplished much in the big international tournaments. Unlike the Germans, who are recordholders, so I want Spain to win.

EDIT: Heh, headbutting is quickly becoming a tradition at finals.
 
Entertaining game, but gosh, was there a difference in class between the teams that surprised me... Spain fully deserved the win in the end and displayed some beautiful football, but I didn't think that the Germans would have so little to offer. Almost every single one of their forward movements in the second half fell apart around the half way line (mild exaggeration but meh).

And yeah, enjoyable tournament. ROLL ON WORLD CUP 2010 EYYYY
 
A good result in the end, though the Germans started off surprisingly strong in the first half and it took Torres Goal to take the pressure off the Spanish. I thought Puyol was dire defensively, but Sergio Ramos was outstanding as was Xavi. I was worried that when Kyrani came on the Germans might power through an equaliser and shift the mood of the game into their favour but fortune favoured the Spanish.

The only downside is that unrepentant racist bigot Aragones gets a Winners medal. :dozey:
 
I used to play Soccer when I was 8 but I watched a bit of this today. :p Like 2 min in the England game I lol'd so hard. David Beckham just booted the ball right into some guys crotch! :LOL: You should have seen the agony on that guys face as he rolled around on the ground. :LOL: They even got a water bottle and started to pour water on his crotch hahahaha. Completely unrelated but some guy called Bubba Watson a second ago (hate golf but it was the only thing on) hit the golf ball right into the crowd. Epic lulz day for sports. *Can anybody find these vids?

Was at a Radiohead gig so missed it but got the score texted through to me. From what I heard, Spain walked all over the Germans.

So good, deserved win at the end. Definately one of the best Euro's that I have watched in my time.
 
Good win for the Spanish.

It's even more awesome that we had a Euro 2008 xbox 360 game just 2 days before, and we chose Spain and Germany, and Spain won 1-0 just like the real match.
 
I was all for germany but hey it was a really good game even though spain dominated the vast majority of the match. I like spain, they have very good team work/spirit and deserved to win it. They should really thank Ramos for blocking that would-be beautiful ball from ballack sometime in the back, if he wasn't there then it would've went in forsure.
 
I fancied Spain from the start and they actually won. This is ****ing unprecidented.

Torres is a god.
 
I was with Germans in this finals, mostly because of Balack - he lost 3 important finals this season, and now the fourth... Tough luck... :(

Lehman had his game of career :lol:

Rosetti fell for some Spanish theatrical falling, especialy in the end. Anyway, the Spanish prevailed. Torres is one fast mother****er.
One of the best, and most interesting finals I've watched.

I was with Italians and Croats most of the time - but hey, all my favs dropped... :p

Casillas (shades Buffon and Boruc)

Sergio Ramos - (Was always liable I felt at the back but performed great in the semi and final so I'd give him the nod. Always a good attacker. Bosingwa was pretty impressive too until the Germany game)

I could nominate the entire French team as well as the back four of Germany and Poland but that might be harsh. 4 strikers included but gtfo, they were shit.

Great finale. Usually the finale sucks because both plays defensive due to fear of the other team doing breakaways.
