I think that's gonna replace the Ichthy, for when the player goes too far out into water in the coast levels. Except there will be more than one. I guess it could be the same leech from the original HL, you occasionally saw them in water, like in the Apprehension chapter

tbh it doesnt look that amazing.
a hellknight looks way more impressive not to mention cacodaemons, but i think the leech does fit more in a realistic environment

BTW, why do people think HL2 looks outdated? I read somewhere in an interview that Gabe (or some other Valve employee) said it was going to be 50 enemies in the game. :S
