Violet= A bit unimpressed, I was expecting much more from the film. Action wasn't all that amazing and she had practicly no "vampire" like abilities aside from super strength. Alot of "Gunkata" like shoot-outs in the movie (never really bought into that in Equilibrium). All in all the movie was pretty mediocre aside from a few good action scenes here and there.

Running Scared on the other hand was fantastic. Surprisingly, Paul Walker did a great acting job and the movie was very stylish with a great story. A must see!

Just watched Running Scared and I definitely enjoyed it. Might not have been the most intellectual film around, but it was fast and fun. I really liked Paul Walker's character, since he was finally being hardcore instead of trying to play hardcore.

Hahahahhahahhahah Ultraviolet was... HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA.

Hilarious. Made no sense. Kept zooming in on her pimples. Terrible acting. Terrible one liners. Seriously, made no sense whatsoever. Action-less. Awfully written. Made NO GODDAMN SENSE. Special effects must've been made by a 6th grade Graphics class. Seriously, awful graphics, especially in the motorcycle chase scene. Corny. Stupid. Made. No. Sense.

Don't see it unless you're there to make fun of it like I was. And laugh through the whole movie. Hey, it was my birthday!

Ultraviolet had so much potencial you can see how the movie was cut up. I read a interview with Kurt Wimmer on how the movie was shot as an R rating but then they cut it because he got screwed once again. Really sucks Kurt Wimmer is a great director/writer but he keeps getting screwed and bashed on. You can see how much potencial this movie had. With the characters and story. His budget was very small and he needed something to revive himself from the whole Equilibrium crap. I mean in every fight scene you can see the movie get cut because they changed the rating. It sucked so much. Plus you can see that most of the money he had for the movie went into the CGI and stunts, which was GREAT. He needed to do what he could get any money back. If you guys read about what happened with he made Equilibrium you would know why he choce this.

Really sad and i hope he continues to make movies with greater budgets.

I think that the Equilibrium guy made one good movie. Equilibrium.

Now he should stop, otherwise I will have to stop him myself.

I don't give a shit if they raped his dog and put all his money in a fat lady's butt. That movie had no potential whatsoever. The stunts were shit, the graphics were cellshaded and looked like they came out of a PS1. But that wasn't the problem-- the movie made no sense. The plot was awful, terrible, and flawed. They only mentioned the vampire thing like twice, which confused the hell out of me. Why did she kill all of her friends for a dumbass little brain dead boy that she never met? (Who can also fit in a tiny backpack...) The hell happens when the kid grows up and looks just like the bad guy? I don't give a damn about "spoiling" this movie since its not a movie, its a joke.

It seriously made no sense. No. Sense. I was expecting the plot to suck, but not this bad. But hey, it could have made up for the shit plot with good action and special effects. Which it had neither.

And someone explain to me why the bad guys all have glass armor. Literally. The armor shatters when they fall down. Also, why did the Equilibrium guy just need to have like 10 scenes where guys all die one at a time like dominoes? Hey, that's cool once. Not ten times. Once. In one movie.

Psst... Equilibrium guy. Equilibrium was a good movie. Don't ruin it by making a zillion pathetic wannabe's.

I hope a hippo sits on him.

It's not thought provocking, but it was good durty fun i thought.
