Is fighting with your fists still an option in Oblivion? If so, how is it? Good enough to play the entire game like that? I had an unarmed character in Morrowind and it was my favorite. It took longer to hurt the monsters, but it was alot more fun tbh

It is. Apparently though it is quite difficult to use only your fists throughout the whole game, but still possible.

I think now, it actually takes off health instead of fatigue then health.

Ah I see. Thats going to make the fights faster.

I liked how it was before as well becuase you get to punch them so many times :x

Either way, im glad its still an option. You could carry so much loot becuase you didn't have a heavy ass weapon to lug around.

Thats another reason he was great unarmored as well, so you could travel really light. You could practically carry around a whole store's worth of loot.. but apparently they removed the unarmored skill in Oblivion

yeah, I saw a vid of a guy punching the chain in the very beginning

dunno how feasible it'll be to do it the entire game tho

In the beginning when some rats pop out at you I just punched them all in the face. They went down pretty quickly, don't think my character could do that to a Deadra though :p .

Yeah you can play through the entire game without weapons if you choose. Lol i punched a girl trying to sell me somthing and ran hahaha it was sweet.

For an unarmed character in morrowind it was good to learn daggers or short sword as a second weapon skill.

The paralyzing enchanted daggers were great in a pinch and could help you fight or run from battles where you would normally have been completely outmatched.

Question: Is breaking necks a perk for high Unarmed skills? The journalist on PCGAMER UK indicated you could break necks
