Under age sex pisses me off

I'm 14, and I have several friends who have openly admitted that they have had it on with someone. And that annoys me alot, for two reasons (maybe more, but I couldn't count.)

1) From what I have heard, the average age of dieing is around 75. That means we have somewhat 60 years to have sex ... so whats the hurry? Why do it at such a young age?

2) Tell me, Halflife2.net, how often does your mother tell you she has had sex? (Maybe a silly question for this kind of environment) So why would my friends come into school and say, "I have had sex. I have done it. Bow down to me." - is there really a need? Do you need to broadcast to everyone you have had sex with just one girl? Maybe if it was a hundred girls, I'd be more interested, and less frustrated. But one? Meh. She's an ugly tramp anyway, and I'm sure her personality ain't the best, either.

I am now expecting *cough* very serious replies.
 
Please be prepared for a series of replies in which people accuse you of being angry only because you are not having sex whilst all your friends brag about it to you. I was going to do it myself, but I'm taking the high road.

1. You ain't got that many years, kid. You figure you've about fifteen, sixteen years to mature, sixteen being the most common age people start having sex. And then you've got some good years but it's probably going to all go downhill once you get in your latter thirties, early forties. Nobody's having sex at 75 and if they are that's gross. That's downhill, son. Downhill.

2. My family broadcasts when they have sex all the time. My mother? Pfft, try my grandmother. My family's liberal as all get out.
 
The younger people say they did it, the higher the probability that they're are lieing (how the fook do i spell that word anyway?). I wouldn't be peerpressured into doing it if I were you. Bear in mind that there's a positive corrolation between intelligence and the first time, i.e. the older someone is when doing if for the first time, the higher his/her intelligence.
 
Its not really all my friends, its just some of the jerks who I cannot stand. So yeah I kinda contradicted myself.

More like the older someone is, the uglier/more of a social outcast/lower self-esteem they have. Take your pick. You may be one, you may be all, but it's one of those things. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY says, "I refrain from having sex because I'm trying to build up my IQ." Please. Poindexter would drop that calculus book and pocket protector for a chance at any pussy. Believe that.

Fact of the matter is that in Western society we place social status on when you have sex, how many times you've had sex, and who you've had sex with. With such emphasis put on it, of course kids are giving it away like burnt cookies at a bake sale. It's free, go on, take it.

And most people are going to lie about it, but some of them, hey...if you get the chance. With 14-year-olds, who knows which way that is. At the very least Xen you can solace yourself in the fact that it probably wasn't GOOD sex.

I didn't mean it that way. My statement was based on a dutch survey that measured IQ and asked a bunch of questions. One of the corrolaries was the IQ / first time thing. Of course statistics don't prove anything, but I thought it would be a nice ego boost for Xendance.

So they had sex, big ****ing deal. Its annoys me when people see sex as something of major importance, that they HAVE to have it by a certain age, no matter who with, or crap it is. Its people like them who wont get anywhere far in life, because their priorities are all over the place.

I am 19 in 21 days, and I haven't even come close to sex (accept being asked for threesome once by some dude and his girlfriend at a club, the mere prospect of being in bed with another guy, made me decline) but I couldn't care less. I would rather hace sex with someone I actually really like and really attracted to, not just the one night stand crap ive heard too many times.

And for the record, I would EASILY choose to play with my band on a stage in front of many fans, than to have sex, no matter how good it would be.

Even when you are young, sex does not have that social status tag attached in sweden that is seems to have in the USA. I know several people that waited quite a while before having sex simply becouse they never met anyone earlier that they wanted to have sex with (the key word here is WANTED, not could).
 
It's based on values and beliefs. Either you do or you don't.

Everyone has a right to brag about their, er...conquests to people they know. Now whether this makes them assholes for doing so is another matter entirely, so I'll leave that to you. I'd also point out that not everyone who claims they have had sex at 14 has actually had it.

It's obviously fun and people enjoy it. People feel good telling other people about it because it reinforces the fact they have done it. Of course your mother doesn't tell you about it - She's your mother, not a school friend. Totally different mindset.

O hadn one last thing. If they've had sex with an "ugly tramp" with a personality like a cesspit...why should you care? Just roll your eyes and carry on living :)

There's much more emphasis on it in high school because that's "peak hormone time." Plus, you're still young and that's the point: the younger you are, the cooler it makes you to your peers. That's the whole point. Man, when I was younger I didn't want to have sex with my girlfriend in HS because I liked her, I wanted to have sex with her just so I could brag about it. Ever heard the term, "pissing contest?"

Later in life it's almost a nonissue.

dude, don't worry about it. it's just the hormones kicking in.

sex was also a major factor for being cool at that age. my former best friend went so far that he made a deal with his new GF, that they would have sex on a designated date. his sole purpose in life at that time was to get laid. he told me that the first two tries he never came. talk about bad.

i got first laid at 19. although i did some crazy stuff before but not sex. after some time sex becomes no big deal. i'm not saying it's not good, but it stops becoming your one and only goal in life. then it becomes something that gives you great amount of pleasure, not social status.

a good point about long term relationships is that your sex gets more kinky and thus better. since you know your partners likes and dislikes.
for most one night stands it mostly goes with some standard moves, since you don't know what your partner wants. but i'm not an expert on that so fell free to correct me.

hey kid...one good advice...don't be friends with people that you don't like or that you have to pretend to be something you're not. believe me i had my fair share of experiences. that's why i don't have many friends right now. i just don't want to hang out with people i don't feel relaxed and be myself.
frankly i think geeks/nerds have the potential to become better friends than those people who hang tightly to their social status. ok i'm not talking about hardcore geeks/nerds. once you get to uni you'll get a better picture of what i mean. once the general population of idiots gets filtered.
