Many are probably lying, though sadly not all are. What happens when their 14 year old girlfriend gets pregant, they contract STDs or whatever? There are a lot of fun physical things you can do with a girl, which have no risk (well, close to it at least).

1) They're not the smartest people in the world.
2) Having sex with hundreds of people makes you trash, pure trash, with girls they call them a slut, whore, or similar names, with guys it's usually more complimentary names but regardless there is very little difference. Plus QUALITY beats QUANTITY.

Someone I met a year ago would always brag about how many girls they had sex with. Well, less than a year later he has a kid with this nasty, nasty fat chick who's a complete bitch. What do you do then? There's obviously child support, but what about the kid? The guy can't take care of the kid, but leaving it with that complete bitch on the other hand?

The amount of pregnancies when my younger brother went to highschool was ridiculous! Not to mention the percent that probably had abortions.
