Unfomfortable Situation O_O

250 DOLLARS a month? Jesus! Its like £360 a month for a room AS A STUDENT here in the UK. £500+ for a flat in a city.

Bugger me, im migrating.

Speak for your own part of the UK, brah. I'm paying 250 a month in Glasgow, near city centre.

Still, for dollars that's pretty awesome.

Oh it would be hilarious if you all migrated over here and bought all our foreclosed homes. Then we could have this situation like fifty times a week. And then I could go to the space you left in your countries and buy the places you used to have. And when the wheel turns back to where it is now, and you all want to get the **** out just like I do, and you come back to your door, and tell me how you miss your home, I can giggle.

I can only assume she lost her job because she was wearing an apron for a maid service when she answered the door.

what? please elaborate

Doesn't sound like she can afford the house on a housemaid salary, so he assumes she was a teacher based on WHAT HER NEIGHBOURS SAID.

It's really not THAT complicated, stern. Stop being senile. Stop. STOP IT.

what? please elaborate

The neighbors across the street said she was some sort of school teacher. However, when she answered the door, she was wearing a green "uniform" with an apron on that said like "Merry Maids" or some shit on it. =/

oh ok you meant she lost her teaching job because she had on an apron when she came to you. Ok somehow I interpreted it as her house had gotten repo'd becuase she had an apron on when the repomen came to the door or something... I was like what?

she was a ghost
Then you need to tell her "ZOMBIE GOASTS LEAVE THIS PLACE!"

But yeah, I'd feel pretty bad. Just count your blessings that you've got your employment and a roof over your head. It's not your fault that she lost her job, as tragic as it is.

"But this is our house!" :(

It was rated the worst city in America out of 373 cities. It was literally the worst in every single category--economy, jobs, cost of living, climate, education, housing affordability, commute times, health care, arts and culture, crime, transportation, leisure, and overall quality of life.

Yep. I was just checking housing in the midwest for what I paid for mine (130k) and FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I could have gotten a small mansion on a grassy hill. =(

*edit 2*

Fun fact, assuming I never get a better job ($9.00/hr) and I always make the minimum house payment, I will pay off my house in, get this....

Well I pride myself on being from the poorest city in America. (Or was)

I don't know anything about Californian Cities, other than Burbank, where mi hermano resides, and where we were most of my visit out there.

Seemed better than here thats for sure, but that city is always awake.

It's funny, my family is actually probably going to move into a forclosed home sometime soon. But my understanding is that a crazy old man lived there...
