just watched this film again and just had to mention the fact that i nearly choked i was that moved. i don't think theres ever been a film that has made me feel so ill with depression

brings it all back. despite sounding so negative, its a great compliment to a great film and anyone that hasn't seen it yet, see it

Yeah, this was an extremely intense movie. I went to see it in theaters with two lady friends and both of them were sobbing at the end. 9/11 is still a pretty sensitive emotional subject when I think about it in terms of what actually happened to a bunch of innocent people rather than the bastardized reason for the war that it's become. Great movie.

i saw this at the cinema when it first came out aswell and because i was with me mate and his girlfriend, i was trying my best to hold it all back but just watched it on my own again now and it hit me really ****ing hard

9/11 is still so potent. the film gets you thinking a lot about what the world has become now and the absolute awful tragedy of it all

gut wrenching stuff to be honest

what about the millions of innocents who die a far more gruesome death than those in 9/11?
i think it's rather selfish to be sad about those in 9/11.
but it's understandable, so i'm not blaming anyone, just thinking out loud.

anyway the movie was good, but should be taken with a grain of salt.

Great film, probably one of the more disturbing films out there.

fair enough opinion but i don't see how its selfish. it was a national tragedy, a symbol of an attack on freedom, fear mongering. the world hasn't been the same since. fair point, there are people who have died a 'far more gruesome death than those in 9/11' but there were so many innocent lives lost for no more a reason than some religious ****ing fanatics doing shitty things in the name of god

9/11 is something that will forever be with me and this film touches a nerve. it recaptured the essence of the sheer horror of the day

not digging at you though, just my two cents

blahblah million of african children

Pointless statement everyone makes about a certain death or event. We're mourning 9/11 and talking about an emotional movie. Go make an African children thread ffs.

Its a powerful film indeed wonderfully directed by Paul Greengrass of the Bourne sequels fame but no one truly knows what happened on the flight outside of the phone calls to the families and the flight recorder. Take the events of the film with a pinch of salt.

I don't watch films that try to cash in on tragedies. I never saw this movie or wanted to because I thought it was in extremely poor taste.
