Hmm, all right I admit your correct, that doesn't change that its a generalization, however people are stupid in the masses in america , perhaps because I did live overseas for a LONG time is why I'm not like most people, I personally didn't care about any of it, and none of the people who I hang out with care about it either, so no not Americans did this or that, some did, and perhaps I will agree with you now, because afterall I guess the public did enjoy that sort of stuff... so on a basis you are correct, but nontheless I am an American and I don't believe I should be held responsible for what others do, they liked that not because they were of this country but because they are ignorant like most people. It has nothing to do with egotism that I assumed you were foreign, It was based on the structure of what you said implied in that you refered to Americans and the US from an outside view rather as one of them.
