I've played only UT, UT03, some Unreal, and lots of Unreal2: the awakening (that game is one of my favourite of all time).

Why so many consider U2 bad??? i got so immersed i almost cried at the end.

Because it almost had nothing to do with the previous game (besides the episodic appearance of Scarj soldiers). Also they completely missed the point on what made the first one good. It was the atmosphere, the blend of sci-fi and fantasy.

When did I say that I didn't enjoy it? Compared to the original it didn't even come close but on it's own it was decent enough. I actually enjoyed some bits of the game despite being completely different from Unreal or even Return to Na Pali.
