I +use'd him, and he yelled out a line he obviously wasn't supposed to say D:

This is an old line from Half-Life 2 Beta, though the subtitle still shipped in the GCFs. A Vortiguant was supposed to remove the Tau Canon from the buggy once you reached the end of the road with it. That never happened obviously (and no Vortiguant appears at Lighthouse point), so the line was cut.

Actually, you can find even more of this from the closed caption TXT's.

In HL2 leak, you had Tau Cannon also as handheld weapon, but I think it was kinda lame, so powered and such.

hl2 tau cannon was totally mad. It would blast physics objects apart, and hit other enemies standing near the one who got hit as well (combine soldiers). Totally badass wep.
