Updates to the Valve Core

As always, the never ending Steam Update continues; This time around there are Updates to the three building blocks of Valve - The Half Life 1 Engine, the Source Engine and Steam.

[br]To download these updates simply restart Steam.

I assume you're referring to the "Test" entry in the Steampowered RSS feed. When I click it all I get is http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=news&id=911 , which is rather boring.

You know you can backup your steam directory to CD/DVDs? look under the steam help topics.

Help topics? Where? I already thought about burning some of my dirs but I didn't know which ones were most important, and I don't have a DVD burner yet. It's the one thing my system still needs (aside from RAM that isn't defective).
