updating games that are installed already?

I have CS and DoD installed b4 i got steam 1.0 . Now i have played CS and DMC perfectly. But it is downloading what seems to be ALL the content for DoD, but i already had the game installed and i already have a DayOfDefeat.gfc that is 350mb. Why is it downloading dod again?

it may have made the dod.gcf file, but its most likely not filled.

right click on dod and goto properties, then click on the "calculate cache status" button, and wait, it'll popup and tell you how much actual game data is in there, etc...

btw when you click the calc cache status button it might seem to be frozen, but just be patient, it'll popup a new window.
