Why are the computers that have hl2 connect online, why a need for this. Why not work on seperate computers? They knew after they announced it , that there were idiots that were going to try to get new information. Safe it on disks or something, sorry valve maybe be alittle to blame for this. Just an opinion, whats urs.

You seriously do not want to know my opinion at the moment. (needless to say it involved directed abuse towards an individual)

I dont think they expected them to be able to get round their security. I bet they have loads. Plus they would be wanting to test half life 2 on steam multiplayer. And as far as i know steam doesent work on lan at the moment. Thats my opinion

Look up the definitions of *steal* *theft* *intellectual property* and try to understand how these words relate to one another.

Not trying to be a smartypants, Lusitano; just have to understand that this was a well-orchestrated theft. An analogy would be high-stakes jewelry theft - despite all precautions, the crime was at least partially successful. Too bad for us, the gamers.

Seems EVERYONE now knows how Valve should have been operating... Geezus...
