This is an idea ive developed but i dont know if it really works like this, and i was hoping id get some help here.
As ive maybe said before ive been working with websites since 4 years back in time. Im not that good yet but hoping to become. In few years ill find a partner i USA to start a webdesigning company with, this after ive made alot of clients and a great portfolio. I live in Sweden atm, and it is possible and easy to move to US when starting a company right ?

If not ill die :hmph:

lol you really hate Sweden don't you, another post about going to the US

Your plan sounds sketchy at best (I hope to god you have thought about it more than the 3 lines you have posted), you seem to have no contingency plan if things go tits up in the US (which they more than likely will if you just go)

The reason why i posted this was to get more information, plans etc
so i wont get stuck anywhere without knowing what to do next

Again? How many threads have you made about moving to the USA and there was another one you made about web design.
Same scenario, same replies, wait til your older.

Get a copyright on a name, get a host, make your website(make sure it's good!) that shows all that crap about we make your design bla bla bla crap, get advertisors, try and contact people about you making there stuff.

My friend did that...he made some good money(a few friends were also in it with him)..don't think he still does it. Do you even have to move to do that?

No but id love to live in the US, and ive made money in webdesigning too ;)

Just don't move right on the border of eastern canada, our(U.S.), pollute so badly that it gets near the border and acid rain!!!

Anyway yeah Canada aint bad. You never have to worry about wars anyway :).

agreed move to Canada instead of USA.

Also web design, there really isnt that many jobs in this anymore, not like their used to be.

Erm... web-design is pretty much a thing you can do without going to the US, as far as I know. Try starting up the company in Sweden. If you earn the money through your web-design, then move to the US.

Yeah move to canada, its like a copy of the US except everythings clean and they have free health care. The only way people in the USA get that is to go to canada with a fake ID.

:p Garfield every time you post this we tell you not to do it, no one help him please. Im sorry but you have to be harsh to help, your being stupid. Don't do it, stay put...

Ill start a webdesigning company, wont work with regular jobs.

Do you actually know why you want to live in the USA?

Is one of the reasons being the streets are paved with gold?

REALLY?

*CyberPitz grabs his concrete bashing poles.*

Many people have told you before Garfield, your idea is bullshit.

I will list some reasons

1. How many 'Web design companies' do you think they have in the US?

I would guess, an awful lot, so what makes you think that your websites will be any better than the ones already there? (Seeing as you know jack shit about HTML, XML, PHP, mySQL, ASP anything.)

2. I will estimate that you are no older than 14, not a great contender for immigration.

3.What kind of education do you have? you should be a bit qualified in the field of web design/coding before you start dreaming crap.

So Garfield, get a clue and shut up about America, because they don't want you.

claim asylum...because we all know how much sweden persecutes its citizens

Didn't you leave because everyone was taking the piss outof threads life these?

on't think you realize that there are plenty of bigger named better webdesign companies that you will hafta compete with. You'd be better off staying where you are. "I like having an ocean seperating us.." or some crap like that.

why do you want to start a company ? why not do freelance work ? a company is a lot to handle and if ur not well versed in the industry and are not business minded its never going to work.

Well tell me why it wont then =)

Because running a business is very difficult. And life sucks. And there's far better talent out there, unless you're some webdesign guru. Mind showing us examples of your work and what you write in?

Besides, it's not like, the moment you setup a website in the US, it's any different than setting up a website in Sweden.

If you're coming to America, join the army for 4 years and then become a teacher. We need more teachers.

America isn't all that great and also you will be making minimal wage which will bearly get you by.Hell my younger brother use to do web design and did some sites for companies..and he didn't even get paid that much.

Also...your plan won't work.

if you ask very nice and give 1000,00$ you can mary me and I wil take you with me in a couple of weeks

Should I be an American?
These simple steps will show you and your loved ones if you have the right stuff for the US of A

Step One - Dont waste time
Your what? 14? My christ boy you should of come over years ago, its allways best to get a head start, dont be one of those wait-till-im-an-adult kind of people, everyone hates them.

Step Two - Dont think ahead
Got an idea for a business? Want to maybe start your own coffee shop called Staredbusks? Well dont think ahead, thats the number one rule. As you see thinking ahead is for suckers! Dont worry, Im sure everything will work out fine.

Step Three - Choose your new home
Dont know where to go? Never been to the good old US of A before? No worrys, with a map, a dart, and some sticky tape you know just where to set up your new life! Just tape the map to the wall, throw the dart, and as long as it hits land you know its going to be a fantastic loving place to live!

Step Four - Ask the Internet
So your taking the plunge huh? Your ready to go, but your still abit unsure? Well why not ask some people for advice? Worried asking your real friends might be abit pansy ass of you? Not to worry, the internet is full of friendly helpfull people who are just begging to help you with your day to day life.

See the other life-guides, we have all sorts like "I think this girl may like me!" and "Leaving forums for dumbies!" and dont forget our best selling guide "Asking for help, how to ignore it, and how to flame the helpers!"

LMAO...seriously I couldn't stop laughing for like 3 minuets.

Have you ever been to the USA before? It doesn't quite work like that here. It's either eat or be eaten.

Not the USA I live in!

Here we have weekly festivals, where the tables are brimmed with turkeys and lobster! Wine flows through our sewer systems and it rains dollars! Our streets are lined with gold, our women are all very sexy and wear lingerie when they shop, and money simply pours out of ATM machines for anyone to use! We've got credit cards, which are like warez money. You can spend and spend and never stop spending and you'll always have more to buy!

Btw Ritz, hillarious.

why are you guys throwing so much shit at him ? i dont see anything wrong in asking for advise on a forum its a nice place to exchange tips . like how or why his ideas wont work ..
are all americans just generally against imigrants or something ? .
you guys are already asuming that he sucks at everything he does you havent seen his work , resume' or portfolio . you have no base of fact on which to judge him. and so what if hes 14(not asuming that you are) ? im sure some of the leading american business men were 14 yr olds at one point of time or another who had dreams or aspiration of becoming big one day.

1) I did ask him for example work. He hasn't responded.
2) Most 14 year olds perspire, not aspire.
3) If he really is simply discouraged by a couple of remarks on a public speach forum, he shouldn't try in the first place.

I wanna move to Canada :). It's U.S.A. but no one cares about you, free health care, clean, a prime minister said "If you elect me again I will run this country into the ground" and he gets elected again, a prime minister punched a guy for saying somtin about him, and well.... it has it's own song "Blame Canada" - South Park.

absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
