USB Freezes

Lately my computer would not start up, but unplugging all my usb devices sorts the problem out. However if i replug my devices in the computer freezes. My printer and my Ipod freeze my computer, what could cause this?

Update: Only my printer and my Ipod freeze my computer, my joystick and my memory sticks don't.

Sounds like an IO or port conflict...have you tried plugging them into different USB ports? It sounds like the two of them are competing for the same spot in the memory...

Have you tried going into device manager and making sure windows isn't shutting off the USB Root Hubs?

I'm voting it's not this, but always good to make sure. It's probably a conflict somewhere. Get the latest mobo drivers?
