USB Headset and XFI Soundcard

Im thinking of getting this Headset:

Thing is will it make full use of my XFI Soundcard as its not actually being plugged into analogue ports of the sound card. I want to use the MacroFX and Elevatin Filtering of my XFI Gamer but im unsure if these will work with a USB Headset

go with another headset with plug ins. I just bought this headset from walmart yesterday for 30.00 US.

I'm fairly sure that by using a usb headset that you will be bypassing your sound card, and therefore missing out on the benefits of the x-fi. However, i may be wrong, so i shall wait and see if someone else can come along and clarify this. And to reiterate my suggestion in another thread:
