USB Tv Tuners: anything good?

Well pretty much my question is in the title. I've been looking to get a TV Tuner and the only reason that I considered USB is because I could use it in any computer, including a laptop unlike PCI. Anybody have experience with them? I was thinking of something nice and small like this

They will do the job. Although if you wanna do any recording I'd get a good PCI or PCI-Express TV tuner (quality of video is a lot better with certain models).

this one has gotten great reviews....but it might be mac only...not sure. its the size of a flash drive and comes with a remote.

Hmm recording probably would be something I would like to do. I did have TV on my desktop from my old AIW 9800 pro but now I have an X1900GT and thought I'd get another TV Tuner card. The HDTV Wonder and the Theater 550 look good right now for PCI.

The HDTV wonder is OK. It only does over the air transitions for HDTV but it's very good quality as long as you can get the broadcast (i tried it out before). The analog tuner on it is better than the USB tuners but not as good as the Theater 550. I actually have 2 theater 550's (1 PCI and 1 PCI-Express) and they work great. Although the software that comes with most of the Theater 550 cards is crappy. I use BeyondTV (almost like Tvio).
