Then HL2 should go gold in no more than 13 days if its to reach stores by this year !!!! due to the 2 weeks needed to print the game and pack it.
 
I think Gabe confirmed in the Valve Info thread that it's not out this year :(

Im getting Horizons in a couple days (well actually in 6), its released on the 9th.

Pretty sure it was very recent. Someone was fed up with negative answers and asked for a positive one about the release date. Gabe said it's positively not coming out this year. Kind of a mean way to put it, but I could probably guess why he might be mad.

ive stopped playing COD till the next patch. bunny hopping is lame. and the rifles are too weak and useless on many maps
