I think there was a cinematic trailer. I haven't watched it, because frankly the only thing that interests me about UT3 is the modability of the engine.

I haven't seen a build of it in like a year. It looked ... to fast for me. I think I just don't like multi-player games like these anymore. I've actually never played an UT game, but you never know. Put it on my store shelf and I might buy it.

There's some E3 footage online somewhere (didn't check to see if the above links point to it), but it shows more of the same. I'm solely interested in the single-player campaign myself.

See, I was expecting there wasn't any SP mode.

So, I might like it if it has SP then.

Right before it comes out, and is gold, I'll check it out.

I'm hoping to god it's basically Unreal 3 for single player with the tournament part being just the multiplayer style, they probably got that hint after the last two games being nothing but tournament ladder vs bots.

I hate to tell you guys, but this one is pretty much gonna be multiplayer only. I would happily devour my hat if I were wrong, though.

Always is with the tournaments so far but they did give their word on it, which is pretty trustworthy coming from Epic.

All I want is a proper next-gen death match game with a great toolkit for modding. A visceral update for UT2K4 is fine in my book.
