UTIII screens! 13 Total!

why do they have to waste such great graphics on such a shitty franchise?
 
I can't wait to play this.. They said there is keyboard and mouse support for the ps3 version right? I would love to mod for this... but I can't afford a system that could handle all that.
 
Im not a big fan of the series either. It gets some sweet mods though, so I usually get it anyways.
 
Never really liked UT. It's too fast for me.

Modding this game should be hella fun though.
 
I never enjoyed UT. It's not that it's not fast, just unimaginative to me.
 
Those screens make it look like it will make modern top of the lines beg for mercy, but knowing Epic, it will run like butter. I can't wait!
 
Are those in-game rendered scenes?! Nice - looking forward to this.
 
UT is 1 of my fav game seris ever. The gore init is always so nice. I dunno if ut2007 will be like ut2004, the unreal 3 engine isnt tht sort of engine to jump around, look at gears of war and bioshock.
 
I play UT games the most at LANs. I've always got the newest version before I head out to one. But it's never my MP game of choice when I'm playing at home though.
 
I play UT2k4 competitively at my local lan. Come first and second one each now. Something I'm actually good at rather than say CSS.

I know there is for the Xbox360 version, but I didn't know the PS3 had USB1.0/2.0
 
Pro tip it would be a bitch trying to run linux on your PS3 without a keyboard.

Sony has today confirmed that the PS3 will support a keyboard and mouse for gameplay. George Bain, from PlayStation 3 developer support, announced at GDC Europe that gamers will be able to connect a keyboard and mouse to the PS3 and use them in place of the standard Bluetooth PS3 controllers. However, he qualified this by saying that developers have been instructed to support controller input for all PS3 game titles, and may choose to support keyboard and mouse gameplay also.

The only Unreal game I ever liked was the first one, the singleplayer game. The rest were just meh, who cares.

Yeah I was seriously doubting there's any computer out now that'll run it (even mine), but after reading your post I remembered I could run UT2K4 with everything on full at 1600x1200 with hardly any fps drops on my 9800 pro rig.
If this isn't done like that (but obviously for today's hardware), then I will be VERY disappointed.

EDIT: on a side-note; LOVE the blood/skeleton effect in screen 15.
 
According to an Article I read in the PSM issue for this month, you will be able to MOD the PS3 version of this game by downloading the mod onto a flash drive. So you can make mods on the computer and put them on your PS3.
 
UT is the best for fast paced Deathmatch and variants (onslaught is awesome) with great graphics.

I'll actually be getting this one when it comes out, not awhile later.

That was Unreal II: The Awakening, correct? Same here - it's the only one I've played (not much into multiplayer) which is why I'm so hyped about this.
 
HUGE fan of the Unreal Tournament series, not only am I DM fanatic, but the modding community is second to none. Can't wait.

I was the same way until I moved to Uni, still looking for a group of people to LAN with here. I may just end up clan playing UT3 online, not as fun but at least it's competitive matches are organized.

I think he's talking about the first Unreal game that was released way back in the 90s.
Unreal II was great fun though, graphics were phenomenal for its time... and there was a huge weapon selection... lots of action... shit story and voice work...
 
There's really nothing better than UT for deathmatch. It's just so frenetic and beautiful. Looking forward to the new singleplayer mode as well.

Every game UT just looks better and better, don't it? Damn.
 
Why do their pressed screens look like oil paint all the time?
 
Kinda the style of the Unreal 3 engine. Gibs look tasty...
 
I'm ashamed to say that I've never owned a UT game before. I love fast-paced games, though, I used to play Quake a lot, so I guess UT3 is the perfect opportunity to get back to twitch gaming.
