So who of you have seen those v-smile commercials? It is that little handheld game thing that is used as a learning tool for kids. I didn't think too much of it before, but now I saw a commercial that basically hints that kids who use v-smart are intelligent, with nicely groomed parents. And the kid that uses another handheld game device is a stupid kid who enjoys nothing else but smashing cars into walls, and his parents are uneducated simpletons in a sense, at least I garnered that impression from the commercial, what with the dad looking unkempt, overweight, and wearing a wife beater.

Yeah.

These are dumb and kids aren't dumb. They know their parents bought them something stupid and won't plat with it. Especially when all their friends are playing Saints Row on the X360. In that game, you can learn how to survive irl which is much better than math.

I could only correct this by saying all kids are stupid. Regardless of what game/console/handheld they are playing. :)

"Stop cleaning your room and start playing your video games!"

"Yeah!!!"

We got them overhere, we call them Leapfrog Learning Comput0rz.

And as you can tell by the 1337 speak, they don't teach much.
