Just a quickie, but is there any reason why there are many servers running without cheat protection enabled?
I played on the server yesterday and a player joined called "Silicone" probably a stolen name, so no offence to any other player using this game name.
The cheats in question allowed him unlimited ammo, which when you consider 1 pulse orb every 2 seconds, made him kinda dangerous.
He managed to grav jump to some spectacular places where he would sit, and pump out nades on a seemingly endless supply.
The only way we were able to rid ourselves of this menace was to turn the game from DM to Hunt the cheat, so we all went off mob handed to mow him down before he had chance to get to far.
Sorry, if this is a stupid question, so far I am just assuming that the cheat protection is buggy. If it's not buggy then why o'h why, are server admins not actively trying to improve the "real" players game time.
