i saw that they are doing some additional scenes for this film now...i had hoped it would come out this year after seeing the trailer...it looks like it might be a return to form for cruise...he does pretty well in thrillers...

From what I've seen everyone does a slight German accent while Cruise doesn't feel the need to bother. It is kind of going to take me out of it not to mention that they are all speaking English to begin with. If these people are going to be paid millions to play pretend they could at least put in a smidgen of effort.

Luckily the rest of the ensemble more than makes up for the talent not brought by Cruise.

I for one didn't really care whether they did accents or not...technically it doesnt really make sense for them to, everything is in english, german accent would just be off putting in my opinion...english accent maybe, but not german accent...

in actuality im pretty sure they movie is gonna be good anyway so its all semantics anyway.
