Yes, Gabe Newell (if you don't know him shame on you) banned Bioshock from Valve offices, until the Orange Box is done. He admitted that he hasn't had a chance to play the game.[br]

They shouldn't be playing Bioshock at work anyway. Valve should be busy working on much more important things at hand. Episode 2, TF2, etc.

Heheheh, they should play it after the Box comes out, might teach them a few things, and make Episode 3 awesomer.

Thanks, I just contacted eleven thousand MSN and Steam Commununity contacts saying Bioshock is no longer on Steam.
 
haha, that is quotable..
i had the same thought as well when I saw the title. that was deliberate was it not digiQ. you almost scared the crap out of us..
 
I'd definitely take a look at Bioshock if I had a 360 or a PC that isn't 3 years old.
 
i wonder if dudes at bioshock would have thought that way as well if release dates were vice versa
 
Hahahahaha! :D I noticed some Valve members played up to 18h last week on Bioshock too. Seriously just get the game because even Valve can't get enough of Bioshock.

On the CVG article it says the Orange Box is coming out October 19th.

When Halflife2.net says its October 9th, whilst others say its October 10th.

in GC last week Valve confirmed the Oct 10th release date
 
You think Gabe would hunt us down and ban our Steam accounts if we sent him spoilers via email?
 
I remember reading a South Park commentary where Trey Parker and Matt Stone had to ban WoW from South Park Studios.

This is kinda the same deal.
 
That's not stopping them from playing bioshock over the weekend :D

yeah. but this... this is just hilarious. i remember reading a while back when WoW came out that gabe wasn't doing any work at valve, just playing WoW all day.
 
We should just e-mail on some plot spoilers to Valve, so there's no need for them to play Bioshock at all. The we reap th reward of the Orange Box delivered on time. :p

If we did that they would probably delay it on purpose as payback. This way we at least know they'll speed up their work to be able to play it more than just the weekends and after work time.
