I don't have time to cycle back through all the pages I missed in the various gold threads, so apologies if this has been posted.

I thought I'd let those know who maybe still wondering, with there being no news confirmation on Steam Powered or Half-Life2.com...

I switched on Steam and was confronted with this pop-up confirming from Valve's end that the game has indeed gone Gold. VUG and Valve have comprehensively made it clear now just in case Valve's silence was concerning anybody.

Turn on Steam if you suspect this is a photoshop job.

I knew it had gone gold. I was specifically talking about Valve's confirmation of that fact. Not VUG's.

But yes, I realised someone else had posted this news too shortly afterwards. The thread title didn't point it out though until I checked.

Still... It can't hurt to have extra confirmation.
