hi, can i have a half life 2 poster signed by some staff members? i
really don't deserve it but uh, well i preordered half life 2 on may
17th from www.ebgames.com and i spent 45 bucks

and i also obviously own half life 1. so even though i dont REALLY
deserve a poster, i am a fanboy and i would REALLY REALLY like one.
please reply and thanks a lot either way.

thanks but i was really hoping you could send me a half life 2 poster with
the signatures on it, there was a guy in the halflife2.net forums who got
one and a shirt because he was able to hack the encryption on one of the
steam videos, if you cant i suppose i could mail you my poster but i have
this bad feeling that it will be destroyed or something during shipping.

Oh, sorry. I guess I misunderstood your email - thought you wanted your
poster signed. We are actually having some really cool Half Life 2 Posters
made - they aren't here yet, but should be in the next couple of weeks. Can
you wait that long :) I will have it signed for you. It is way cooler
than the CounterStrike poster we sent to the other guy :)

OK so in conclusion, VALVe ****ing rocks. and i will post scans when i get it just for proof and maybe a little bit showing off :-D
 
I bet they're gonna get a ton of e-mails asking for free signed posters now :dork:

But seriously, Valve is cool.
 
The 12,342 emails requesting a signed HL2 poster should arive right about now and almost definatelly crash Valve's mail server.
 
really though, no other company i know of has cared so much for their consumers or worked so closely with them. you know what i mean.
 
also if you plan to ask for a free poster, i didnt ask gabe, i asked someone whose email address isnt even on the steampowered.com page, so email me and i might tell ya who it is :-p
 
There should be some sort of award for this much care to the customers.
 
It does not matter WHO it was from Valve, they are all simply the nicest company to their customers. Second place would have to be Lionhead Studios (company who made Black and White), with Blizzard at third.

Anyway.... you rock, hope you get that poster!
