In half life at the end G-Man tells you that you earned the HEV shut and you keep it, but in Half Life 2 you dont have it till you get it from Dr. Cliner(SP?)

WTF?

At the end of HL1 Gman didn't take Gordon's suit because if he stripped Gordon and saw his ripped body, the temptation would be too great and he would blow his cover, cause see,Gman is a code name for GAY MAN!

But after he got Gordon in his control (after Gordon agreed to "work" for him) Gman said....."wise choice mr Freeman. I will see you up ahead. And when I do you better be stripped and on your knees ,wench!!"

It is quite interesting to consider this as a showing of the Gman's control over Gordon's poor life and the circumstances he encounters. He drops Gordon on a train heading to City 17, so sure Gordon will meet the resistance that he promises Gordon his HEV suit as "earned."

Then again, if Gordon jumped off the train and broke his neck, no one would know Gman told Gordon anything. Smooooooth, Gman. Real smooth
