Am I mistaken?
People are whining and moaning about something that has nothing to do with living and breathing?
If you owned stock in the companies involved with bringing HL2 to market, you have a right to complain.
Possibly, your stock could take a hit as a result of Valves misfortune.
Other than that....... Ummm. A video game, a company that from some of the things I have read in the past has missed deadlines before,the leaker acting as if he just discovered the smoking gun Bush planted in the desert.
What a long strange trip its been.
Nobody can honestly write any kind of response defending the person who might have or might not have killed the "release date".
It seems like some people are acting like the kid who is 15, who wants to be 21 RIGHT NOW!!!! and will hold his breath till it happens.
Man, get a grip... Go buy a game from another company, put some dough in the pockets of other developers, maybe if we divert our attention long enough, the game will come out. and we will have more game companies developing better games..

Some of the boards were pretty wild with people equating this with Acme withholding the cure for AIDS or pick whatever.
