NO!!!

ONE CD-KEY FROM ONE RETAIL VALVE GAME WILL GET YOU ACCESS TO EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ACCESS TO RIGHT NOW ON STEAM.

so, you enter a HL cd-key and you get it all, you enter a CS key and get it all, enter a * cdkey and get what you have right now, (not including hl2)

What I'm scared here is that valve may be making us pay for te multiplayer mods.

So you go to the store, buy HL2, come bck-play HL2singleplayer, play HL2multiplayer.

But if you want your HL2 to accept mods (ie maybe CS2 ) you have to pay monthly fee.


I'm keeping my hopes up that valve people are not all greedy bastards and respect the community.

Whether you need to pay for the Mod is up to the Mod team itself. Not Valve. They've already said this.
