As part of Edge's preview of L4D2's The Passing, Valve's Chet Faliszek made some revelations about PS3 support.[br]
?Before we do anything on the PS3 we need to be able to support it in the right way. But we?ll look at it, and I?m sure down the road we?ll do it.?
[br]There is a lot more about The Passing in the Edge preview which you can find here.

This just in, Valve employee said a thing.

a flamewar material for shitty kotaku

more like any material they can find for kotaku
there is nothing really to cover these days

?Well, it?s good to know Valv?e is keeping th?eir option?s open.?

Yes! I knew VALVe would see sense eventually.

?Don?t know why you?d buy them on the PS3 anyway, considering the PC is the obvious choice for Valve games.?

Im assuming this is for future releases.

If they start releasing older games for the PS3 its a waste, simply because you can assume everyone's played them already.

Pointless revamps, ala Serious Sam HD.

Whatever platform you like Valve. But please, don't make exclusives.

If Valve start making games for the PS3. Well, I don't know how I'd break the news to Darkside.

?It?s pretty clear they?re not pandering towards the PS3 that much. It?s just that they?re not ignoring it quite as much as we?re used to.?

?I thought the ps3 hasn?t any games?

It's the console I play the most out of the 3, different strokes I guess.

Anyways not that I would buy an FPS for a console but if Valve did start making games for the PS3 hopefully they don't block mouse and keyboard support. That was one of the nice things about UT3 for ps3 (that and the mod support).

On that note if Valve really did start getting into consoles, I would hope that it would be a new IP that's more geared towards a console controller.
