VALVe's statement....?

According to Half-Life Radio, Valve was/is supposed to make a statement within 24 to 48 hours of Sunday. It's Tuesday. Where is it? Maybe I'm just impatient :bounce: , or they really are holding out . If ANYONE has information regarding this plase POST HERE! By the way check out Gameshout's IRC channel, theres a link on www.halfliferadio.com and I also have a channel, #rarehlmods , to discuss the HL mods you don't see every day such as The Specialists or Half-Life Paintball. I too am wondering if this "till 2004" delay is real or not. I dont see why it would be so hard for them to tell us weather or not we will see it this year...

well I dont know, but if they do get it out by the end of the year then :cheers: to them. By the way, personally I dont really think they got hacked. I think its a cover up of VALVe being too lazy to finish it and sitting around eating beans 'n weiners all day. lol j/k but seriously, dont you think that a professional company like that would keep it on a hard drive that's not connected to their network, let alone to the internet? If i had some project that big id buy a 500 dollar hard drive to keep it safe, it would be worth it from the million$ id probably make from it.... n e wayz this really does make me wanna :flame: :flame: :flame: .... but thats me, right now i do feel :x however. N E Wayz im gonna get some green Jell-O to settle my stomach, drink some coke and eat pop rocks. talk to yall later. Do check out my IRC channel though.

How then, do you suppose, did both source code and content appear onto the Internet, and thus expose Valve to the risk of getting their arses sued off by the Havoc people?

Seriously, they really should come out with a nice, formal, informative statement on the game within the next week or so near the beginning of November to announce a new date or at least an updated status on the game.

VALVe to appear on Half-Life Radio, the following has been quoted from the www.halflifesource.com homepage:

So many people keep asking if Valve is going to come on Half-Life Radio, and the answer is YES. We have been in contact with Doug Lombardi about an upcoming Half-Life Radio broadcast. Doug wrote: "We'd be happy to come on. However, things are still a bit crazy here" and went on to say "set this up". We are now setting up the schedule for them to be on Half-Life Radio. Timmay and I are setting up the schedule and we will let you know the details soon.

We will have Gabe Newell, Doug Lombardi, and possibly Greg Coomer all on the same show. This is going to be a very exciting event and one that many people have been waiting for.

We can tell you that this Valve in-house interview will happen as soon as we can get the date scheduled. We do know that it will happen soon.

Just tune in....
