Haha, that's awesome. I used to play SWG a while back but I found it boring. I love how the background dancers were all dancing together. Too bad they weren't perfectly synced up though or else it would have been better.

Yes, you can. It's a skill and you have to train it to get better dances.

i just love the use of Awesome and neato in this thread, as for the video aint watched it yet, will do in a minute though! I downloaded the SWG 14 day trial, i reckon its a great game, except the combat sucks hard. And after time i can see it becoming unbeleiveable boring and repeatitive! I'm just looking foward to World of Warcraft

Combat is the exact same in WoW....

I checked the resists on the one in the Mos Eisly cantina, the 2 that are annoying the 2 Chiss, and he fined me 5k plus 5k more for him. Bah.

pat_thetic so do you get hurt when ur miles away from the creature? because of crappy <insert programming jargen here>.. WoW is made by Blizzard who generally make quite simplistic games.. such as starcraft and of course warcraft 1,2 + 3.. all of which are point and click rts (wrong definition?) and invole attack, hp, defence, and are all done without any stupidly shiny 3d engines. I dont know how they managed to achieve this in SWG, but it just seems like the creatures you fight are insanely laggy, and can somehow run twice as quick as their actual model is running, and still get hit when u attack their 'ghost' model gg wp ul :x

the difference between SOE and blizzard is that blizzard have been playing MMORPGs for ages and have been absorbing criticisms and trying to make a fun, balanced game... while SOE are just looking at those wonderful monthly fees and how they can spend them on making more money.

IMO the combat in SWG is appauling, and from what i have read about WOW and heard from people in the US beta, the combat is a lot better and fairer. plus WOW has so many more origonal ideas. like turning into a ghost when you die...

Hrm, I believe this has been used in many games before. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you turn into a ghost in UO when you died? Also I believe you turned into a ghost in Dungeon Siege.
