Venus 12 heatsink

Will the Venus 12 heatsink work for socket 939?

The reviews I have read on it only review it on socket 754. And does aynone know if it really noisy. Some people say its noisy and other say its not.

It is both noisy and quiet depending on fan speed. I should think that 21db can be considered quiet by most, while the opposite is probably true for the 48db it puts out at full speed.

well hopefully I wont notice it because I use headphones when im gaming but if I ever decide to get a speaker system im sure it will be noisy. But I want to get a decent overclock out of the CPU and this is the only heatsink I can find that will allow me to do that unless someone can recommend one with as much cooling power but with less DBA ratings.
