How can I make the jet take off vertically? (I mean the jet that has this ability of course)

Yes, but make sure you maintain control of the aircraft, it will go out of control if you don't move it down a bit.

Antone had any success hovering with the f35 taking out enemies? Ive seen someone do it, but its a sitting duck for the low lob of the tank shell.

Being in VTOL is a sitting duck to a thousand different things. I never use VTOL, they aren't meant to be attack choppers

But it's so fun to vtol and capture a flag, your mates are like wtf, didn't no you could do that.

I usually end up crashing while tring to VTOL.

Then your attempting it why you're high in the air, and are not keeping your nose up. Just release w and press s whil flying low, and keep your nose up. And if you need to go a little forward just drop your nose a lottle. thats it, it's incredibly easy, vtolling, easier then flying a BH.
