Video Card questions.

I need a new card.

I had my eyes on the nVidia 6200 and I was wondering if it was better than a 5700.

If it is better than the 5700, is it better than an aTi 9600?

I'm not too sure about the 5700, but IMO ATi 9600 > Nvidia 6200. I had a lot more problems with my 6200, and higher framerates with the 9600XT.

9600 pro or xt would be best.

9800se is cheaper and faster than a 9600xt, plus you can unlock the pipes.

I wouldn't buy it and rely on unlocking the pipelines. Also I think, but aren't totally sure, that teh 9600xt is actually faster than teh 9800se

Oh well yes definitely don't get another Geforce FX card, get the 9600xt. You'll notice a big difference, most notably in HL2. I also had a 5200, and mine was PCI.
