WMM works perfect for me and has lots of options ( in WMM2 : Yes we crash more) , but its REALLY buggy. So save your work often

The options are rubbish!

Apart from uncompressed AVI, you get WMV which is a small file size, but not supported by anything else, there are about ten filters which include, fast, slow and RGB rotate.

Also like you said, it crashes at critical points, such as saving the movie file.

It may be bad, but it's probobly the best freeware video editor out there that I know of...

You can always go to adobe.com and download the 30 day trial of premiere (talk about unstable!)
