video games and homocidal feelings

what are your thoughts? I believe that without games I would still want to go on killing sprees and literaly (not cs) want to camp on a grocery store roof and dragonuv every idiot that parks in a handi capped space and whatch them run around gimped bleeding profusely and panicing........ I am sick, I dont know why, maybe partially because of games? desensitizeation, call it what you want but I feel homocidal alot (I have a therepist so hopefully you wont see my on the evening news) haha :naughty: (props to my friend murph he came up with sniper camping no motive homocide spree with me) not that ive never thought of a scenario pretty close to that on my own ;)

the funy thing is its against all my values and in real life I would never hurt a fly, and I m really a hippie, the thought just for some reason sounds appealing (im not really going to kill anyone so dont send the cops after me)

what do you think is causeing this in todays teens; games? media? I just want to know what is it why are we so desensitized to violence, takeing the life of a fellow human being is terrible :( and we hear and see it every day on the news and such

no lots of people kill people, are lots of people crazy, look at all the wars

in vietnam people killed innocent civillians and just thought of them all as the enemy "gooks" thats how the made rapeing women and takein the lives of children and innocent farmers them liveing someplace elese and looking a tad different, stay on topic but has anyone seen full metal jacket?
 
I only commit suicide when I get beaten at games...

i think those are perfectly sane thoughts babyheadcrab. i personally would choose an apartment complex rather than a grocery store and my two thoughts on gimping are A)one 7.62 mm round in pelvis and ou femur B) 8 5.56 mm rounds litering all the bones in the toes and foot :cheers:

what about just sitting at your house with a machine gun killing anyone that came by, not purposely makeing them suffer but just shooting the liveing crap out of everyone that tries to stop you wait for like the national gaurd and shit and kill as many as possible gta style and wait tell you die... might be an interesting way to go out :D

in C-S, i enjoy knowing that a AWP is one of the few guns that can actually gib. and i love sniping off peds in GTA3/VC.

but im scared to death of guns in real life. :LOL:
 
haha same here, when I see a gun in the small village cops belt I cringe and hope he doesent whip it out and fire becuase im so used to guns shooting in games and tv

funnyass thing is I asked him what kind of gun it was.. and hes like last kind we were issued were glocks, yes I (believe) its some sort of glock

truth is they really really dont need guns, should give em to the city cops really

Video games ease my urge to kill...

Things like "American Idol", Britney Spears, N'sync...Ect ect are what give me the urge to set up a 30/6 at my local concert venue and make those bastards really dance. :|
 
In all seriousness, I honestly sometimes feel this almost unstoppable urge to just beat some unlucky bastards face in with a shovel or hammer or something, just an urge to rip and tear someone limb from limb...I have no idea why, some sort of repressed anger or something I guess.. I don't think I ever would....*ahem*.......I'll get my coat again...

Any pile of stunted growth unaware that entertainment is just that and nothing more, deserves to doom themselves to some cell, somewhere, for having been so stupid!! Movies, books, TV, music, games - they're all just entertainment, not guidebooks for damning yourself!
 
I don't think that videogames have any influence on violence.
 
as far as video games causing HOMOcidal feelings... well no game i've played has ever made me want to kill gay people.

All videogames did was get me interested in guns, which got me interested in airsoft.

I think it's better to shoot someone with an airsoft gun...
 
Video Games let you get your anger out, they don't build it up. And people who can't tell the difference between virtual and reality needs help.
 
I blame reality for homocidal feelings, I also blame video games for letting me live them

but hell its good to let that out when its not real :D

The correct spelling is homicidal, as it's been pointed out. :)

Anyhow, I agree. Video games release tension, however, without video games, I doubt I'd be a homicidal maniac.

Lets all be glad that our mothers don't belong to MAVAV.

I've read in somewhere that psychological studies show people who play violent video games are less likely to do something violent like that in real life. Just an insight.
