Soo, i am in the process of making my very first video. I have a question: is it better to keep the same effects and transitions throughout the whole video?

Thanks.

yes.

it's even better if you don't use all th gay ass effects and retarded transitions...just stick with fade.

Yes. Most self-made videos are made of Windows Media Player and fail.

The most powerful cut is the straight cut. It's been psychologically proven or something.

Unless you're making a star wars movie, use only straight cuts or quick fades.

Fade is epic...

And, if your going to Black or White, use that nice fuzzy blurred look as the righting appears on the screen, that is pretty cool.

Make sure you use Vegas and no shitty animations like ****ing 1980's flying screens which bring up a different scene followed by another horse shit animation to remove the clip again.

Just don't use any shitty things like that.

Aren't they one and the same?

Make sure you're using a decent editor first of all, stick to cuts and fades if it's your first, make sure the song fits with the material, time it well, and have a point to the video to begin with.

Don't use linkin park. I'll find you and shit in your mouth if you do.
