UPD8, apparently India has warned the people on the South Coasts to get too high ground as another wave/tsunami whatever is expected but i don't know whether it'll happen or not so i'll watch some news later and tell you guys whether or not it hits etc.

Man, this happened the same day that I was watching Day After Tomorrow too. How crazy is that?

I put off watching that film cause of this happening, didn't seem right watching it somehow.

The wave wasn't high. At least not in Thailand. 1-2 metres. Although it was very, very powerful. If you watch the videos it will just look like a wave that has gotten a bit too far inland, but that wave is more powerful than any other wave you've ever seen.

Even if they didn't some of the people look pretty damn happy about being caught in it. Look at the woman wearing black, and the guys next to her. They are all smiling.

they had no idea what the **** was happening did they?

if you was on holiday and it flooded slightly you might not think anything major of it.
unlike us at home. which now that thousands of people have been killed by it. will see it differently

Me too. Sadly, The Day After Tomorrow is insanely farfetched in most of its scenes. (Where was the smoke from the fire going in the library?)

The old lady is still missing. The old man was rescued. It was on the news yesterday, and so was the guy who taped that video.

That pic is definitely fake, some of the people are smiling even. But I don't know who would make fun of the incident.

If you look at hte child's face on the left of frame, you can see a distinct edge, it could be part of the pattern of water behind it, but I'm doubtful. Take a look at the guy roughly center with the blue shirt, the same thing seems to be happening to him.

The killer is that they're all smiling and laughing, and not fleeing in terror, and also that no national news networks have featured this picture.
