Video of Touch table Warcraft 3

The future's so bright I've gotta wear welding goggles

Seriously though, this is pretty damn cool. The response time for the table still seems a bit slow, but this is still very awesome tech. Can't wait for this stuff to start showing up in various places.

ya but I'm willing to bet they havent thought about this eventuality: cooties

That reminds me, I still have to get my cootie shot for the year. Better do it before i meet up with any dirty, infected girls.

*circle, circle, dot, dot, now I've got my cootie shot*

There, all done.

haha, yep it seems a bit slow right now but that looks like a very promising tech

I figure if I pray enough I'm good to go, right? Besides, they've all said they were on birth control. And they're trustworthy, right?

Anyway, i wanna see how an FPS would work on one of these screens.

just use cleansing scalding water on the red spots, and use the "hope and pray" method so that you dont get someone preganant and you're good to go

I dont know if fps would work all that well ...touching a character to shoot him cant be all that much fun

I dont think an fps would be that great with one of those since putting a finger in middle of the screen and stuff would be kinda annoying while shooting at someone IMO, but something of the sort could be cool like eye tracking or something so whereever you look, your character looks, keeping the crosshair in the center of course. I dunno, that seems cool but I suppose there could be flaws and drawbacks :bounce:

A bit unresponsive, yes, but I'm assuming that other programs designed to be used on a tabletop would run much faster. I'm more looking forward to UE3's voice-controlled AI.

I'm not too trustworthy of the voice tech, for it seems TOO good. That and there were several cuts in the video. I can believe the hand motions though.
