What do you think of him? I think he's pretty underrated as an actor, after seeing Boiler Room and Find me Guilty.

I dislike him, boring prick. He can't act at all.

"You owe me a 10 second car."

That's all I've got to say about him.

I think he's got some good potential, but needs to stretch it once in a while. He clearly loves doing geeky movies, so I cut him some slack.

I think Saving Private Ryan proved to me he can act when given a chance.

Ah yes, I forgot about SPR. I also thought he is great as a voice actor in the Riddick game. I liked it much better than the movie. I think his performance in Find Me Guilty has just the right balance of humor and humanity. He has been in bad movies, sure, and he has given some not so good performances, but I think he is better than the movies he chooses to be in sometimes. I mean, The Pacifier?! Come on...

He is in the same category as Cuba Gooding Jr: Talented actors who need to fire their agents.

I would like to see him in a more interesting role then he's had so far.

He was good in Saving Private Ryan (lol). I liked Pitch Black a lot too.

I laughed at the thread title. That should tell you enough about my opinion of him.

If not: Escape From Butcher Bay. Voice acting. Laugh some more.

I am lost as to why some criticize Butcher Bay's voice acting. I thought it was great voice acting with a great cast. He takes his voice a step down, like if Barry White was a serial killer. I know that sentence sounds stupid as hell, but it worked for me.

Which would be great, if his voice wasn't audibly crackling every few lines while he tiptoed around the awful dialogue.

I didn't think the dialogue was that awful. :|

I think the exaggerations(?) of his voice works for the game, whereas it wasn't nearly as low and crackly in Pitch Black, which as you probably know, was the first movie with the Riddick character.

We need more movies like the Pacifier. Ya know edgy comedies like this that deal with racism, sexism, and other taboo subjects of our era. Cinema gold like this movie...oh wait they're telling something...yes...yes...you don't say...oh dear...ok they're saying this movie was absolute dog shit.

I did enjoy Pitch Black though.

I agree, Riddick as well. He also is pretty good with stories, it was a lot of his ideas that made Riddick etc.

He's a pretty good actor, he just needs to be more discerning about which roles to accept.

Problem with Butcher Bay wasn't so much the cast; more the absolutely horrible dialogue.

Pitch Black
Saving Private Ryan
the rest are pretty sub par, but he's a rather good actor in shitty movies...

He's cool, his voice is badass.

And I thought The Pacifier was pretty funny... but then again I was drunk on mini cocktails and it was a flight movie.

I never knew he was in Saving Private Ryan.

I forgive him for being in The Fast and the Furious.

Honestly he pretty much carried the Fast and the Furious all on his own, Paul Walker wasn't exactly all that interesting.

I actually didn't hate the 1st one that much, and I didn't think he was that bad in it. Not a great or even very good movie, but decent popcorn action.

Pfft the cars carried that movie. And now we have to deal with became from it...

/me shudders

He's a good actor. He just makes bad choices when it comes to movies.
Take a look at 'Multi-Facial' if you want to see how talented he is.

Yep, I linked to the whole movie on youtube. It really shows he is capable of great work methinks.

Just watched "Multi-Facial" and I have to say its pretty good, but I thought Vin Diesel was a decent actor beforehand anyway.
