Vivendi NOT fixing dupe HL1 CD-Keys anymore.

Im sure there are plenty of people with HL2 problems.....
Im Not one of them.......

I am however getting absolutly NOWHERE when tring to get my (LESS THAN 30 DAYS) purchase of HL GOTY registered.

It's now three (3) Weeks since I sent my "Already In Use" cd-key to vivendi. And not only have they NOT sent me a new one - But they havn't even bothered to email me back AT ALL regarding this.

What the hell do I do? Vivendi don't seem to have any other support email I can contact them (Not that they would have the decency to reply!).

Just keep on e-mailing them until they pay attention would be the only advice that I could offer.
 
Vivendi = Bad News

Yeah - I fired of x3 more of the same email at the 2 week mark.
(x4 emails in total now)

Perhaps I should send the same email EVERY day - To try & Get them to reply.

I may just have to call the apropriate authority here in Australia - And let them know Vivendi are activly commiting fraud.
ie selling product that will not activate (Known Defective goods*) & not resolving the issue for customers.

[* It is KNOWN that vivendi released DUPLICATE cd-keys]


The thing that pisses me off - Is that I take the time/trouble to Scan in my cd/box/key to email them - & they do Farking nothing.
Not to mention the $$$ I fork over for the purchase in the 1st place.

Post on the steam forums, they should help you. I think they even have a special form for this kind of thing.
