Believe it or not, VALVe *DID* make CS 1.6.

VALVe bought the rights to CS, and co-created CS 1.0. From then on, it was VALVe and a few of the original CS team (now VALVe employees) who continued to update CS. So, let's recap..

VALVe buys CS. Hires original team members to work on future CS versions. VALVe "makes" CS 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, and so forth.

Therefore, VALVe did indeed create CS 1.6. They didn't create CS, true, but the changes from beta to retail were huge, big enough to almost be an entirely different game.

Did they well I was informed over by other sources that acouple of college kids made it from halfllife 2 by a sdk. And thats why mods are so popular nowadays because these kids got rich of it and thats why people started to mod in hoping they make a hit game like cs.
